Josiane Balasko began her career writing and performing with Splendid, a theater group in Paris.
She made her feature film debut in 1976 and has gone on to become a popular French actress. In 1985, Balasko made her directorial debut with "All Mixed Up."
Most recently she has written, directed and acted in the film "Bushwhacked" (1995).
