Multiple attacks kill 16 in Baghdad (29/7/2010)

Back-to-back violent incidents in the Iraqi capital have reportedly claimed the lives of at least 16 people, inflicting injuries on 14 others.

The attacks occurred in Baghdad's al-Adhamiya district on Thursday, AFP reported, citing the country's Interior Ministry.

There were nine Iraqi security forces among the fatalities.
