Afghan giant challenges US forces (29/7/2010)
An Afghan youth in the southeastern province of Paktia has challenged US troops to a wrestling competition, saying he can beat to strong US soldiers simultaneously.
He says such a competition could be held in presence of hundreds of spectators, a Press TV correspondent reported.
The man also expressed interest in taking part in an international wrestling event, where he can win a reputation for his violence-wracked country.
The Afghan tribes are known for their physical strength in the region. They have fought invaders of Afghanistan throughout the history. |
